A Little Hero
A group of Italian soldiers led by a captain were advancing slowly toward the position of the enemy. They arrived at a farmhouse, in front of which sat a small boy, cutting a branch of a tree with his knife.
"What are you doing here?" asked the captain. "Why didn't you leave with your family?"
　　"I don't have any family," said the boy. "I'm an orphan. I used to work for the family that lived here. They've gone, but I stayed in order to see the fighting."
　　"Have you seen any Austrians pass by here?"
　　"Not within the last three days."
　　"Do you think you could climb that tree and tell me whether you see anything of the Austrians in the distance?"
　　"Sure!"
　　In a few minutes the boy was at the top of the tree.
　　"Look straight ahead," cried the captain, "and tell me what you see."
　　"Two men on horseback - nothing else."
　　"How far away?"
　　"About a mile and a half. They're standing still." ….
　　"They're shooting at me," said the boy. "but don't worry. Let me tell you what's to the left. Well, there's a church and I think I see... "
　　 A third bullet passed, and the boy was seen to fall suddenly from the tree, dead.
　　"Poor boy!" said the captain, covering the boy's body with a national flag and saying, "He died like a soldier and we must bury him like a soldier."
Soon it was covered with flowers. He gave his life to his country.
【写作内容】

Dear Jack,

  I’m middle school student. I’m writing to tell you my problem with my mother.  She is a doctor, whom works very hard. She is strict in me, but she is too busy with her work that she found little time to talk to me. I love her

and I do well in my studies, but I still feel a little of afraid of her because she loses her temper easy. I don’t know how to communicate with her. Maybe that’s why we have seldom sat down and exchanged our feeling and thoughts. I hope we can know more about each other and understand each other well. I do hope we’ll be closer. What can I do?

Dear Lucy,

Thanks for your letter. I’d like to telling you about my first surfing online

experience.

This summer vacation when the computer was connected with the Internet,

my parents and I sat in the front of the monitor together. My father asked me

download some stock software, which could enable him to buy and sell shares

online without going outside. My mother loved Korean soap operas, so I

downloaded some for her but also told her how she could watch them online. At the

end, I searched for some English study website to help improve my listening and

speaking English. The Internet has allowed him family to enjoy a more convenient,

relaxed and efficient life.

I very sympathize with you and the great trouble you are suffering.I suggest you to
Communicate your trouble to your teachers and classmates so as to get help from them..
You are not supposing to think about your exams all the time,that only makes you more
stressed out. Somehow, your should think about the progress you made in your study.
That will surely increase your confidence.In addition, I suggest you to doing more exercise in your
spare time to relieve your stress because sports will too help better at night.As for me, I
would like to listen to classic music If  I have time.
