为配合2009联合国气候变化大会，你校请来了中山大学李教授为同学们做讲座。假设你是《学生双语报》通讯员，请用英文写一则通讯稿报道这场讲座的情况。

毫无疑问，地球在变暖，这正是人类活动引起的；

看起来一些自然灾害，如严重的风暴、旱涝、疫病和物种消亡应归咎于全球变暖；

同时，近年来世界许多地区的冬天气温趋于上升，其中大气污染是导致这一结果的主要原因；

除非我们净化环境，否则人类可能无法生存。
