One day, a poor boy who was trying to pay his way through school by selling goods door to door found that he only had one dime left. He was hungry so he decided to  31 a meal at the next house.

The other day I was talking to a stranger on the bus; he told me that he had a good  1 in Chicago and he wondered if, by any chance, I  2 to know him .
