We had the opportunity to come to London again this year．I was coming for a 1 , and Jenny was coming to enjoy some sightseeing．My conference was during the week, so we had the weekend 2 ．We decided this year to rent a car and 3 out of London．This was probably one of our best 4 yet, inspired in no small part by Jenny’s cousin Rebecca, who recently 5 to the United States after spending almost a year in the UK．
On Saturday, we set out as soon as we could hire the car 6 the south of Wales．We were heading towards Raglan Castle and Tintern Abbey．Jenny and I studied the 7 we were headed for．We fully planned to use the main motorways only to 8 time, and to get onto the more local roads 9 we could spend some time looking at the villages and towns along the way．
We decided to head 10 for Tintern Abbey．We got a little lost when trying to find one of the more local roads．We 11 heading south a little more west than we had 12 ．Following the map, Jenny identified a different 13 that would take us to the abbey．We 14 there around 15∶30．It was a spectacular view and we were there until closing time at 17∶00．
At that 15 , we realized that we had not 16 anything all day．We were having too much of a good time, and had 17 about food．Earlier in the day, when we were buying the map, we bought a diet coke to drink in the car．That’s 18 we had had all day．Realizing this, and that we were getting a bit 19 , we stopped for food．Then we started our journey 20 to London and finally returned safely to our hotel．
