C
When you get to the country, you must be very careful not to do anything that will cause damage.
First of all, not playing with matches! You could easily cause a serious fire. One thing you must always remember to do is to close gates after you. If you don’t, an animal could easily either get killed on the road or get into a field where valuable crops are growing and damage them. And of course you must not damage the crops either. So always keep to the path when crossing a field, even if there is only grass growing there; grass is very valuable. Don’t throw any rubbish away; take it home with you. Besides looking unpleasant, it can make animals ill or even kill them. If you see any water, be careful not to pollute it in any way. It may be going to supply millions of homes. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you not to harm any animals or birds or their eggs. And if you pick wild flowers, you will spoil the pleasure they give other people.
