help最常用，常指处于好意或同情而作出的行为，多指积极而实际的具体的帮助

aid比较正式，常指给予处于困难或危急状况的团体、国家等援助，救援。foreign/state/first aid

assist最正式，强调协助，辅助，其主语往往是它的宾语的助手或下属。可以用
