The Internet is a big place．No one has enough time to find everything on the Internet．Yahoo gives us a lot of help．

Two Stanford University students, Jerry Yang and David Filo started it in 1994．They made a list of their favorite webpages．When their list got bigger, they make a database (数据库) to keep all the information．They let everyone use it for free．Soon, thousands of people were using it．

Then they made a new kind of software．It could store much information, so people can find information by using it．If you look for "animals", it will give you a list of webpages with the word．

Yahoo became a public company in 1996．As the company grew, Yang and Filo went on working hard．They put more uses in the software, such as shopping, free e-mails, etc．They started Yahoo in many different countries and in different languages．

Guitar Lessons for Guitar Players

Dance Classes

Motion Dance Center in Martinez is now getting registration (注册) for all fall dance classes. There are classes offered in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Contemporary and Cheerleading. Classes run like the school year Sept through June. Prices are very reasonable at only $45 a month. This studio is known for their younger child program.

The size and shape of your ears show your character more than any other part of the face. Other parts of the face change shapes as we get older, but ears do not change their shapes. They only change in size.
Reading people’s character from their ears is a very old science. In the past people thought that a person’s ears with color was dangerous. They also thought that the shape of the ears showed if a person was musical or not. Today，too many people believe that the size and shape of the ears help you know if a person is musical.
Ears are all different，and each different thing has a meaning. Next time you look at a person，see if his or her ears are large，medium-size，or small. Look at the lobes（耳垂）.Do they stick to the face? Ears that are always red mean that a person may get angry easily. Ears that are always cold and nearly white color mean that a person has a nervous character.

Every day when I enter the classroom, I will take a look at the wall beside my seat. You will find nothing special about this old wall if you just look at it. But for the students in my class, it is a special wall. Take a good look at it, and you will get to know the real feelings and thoughts of us, the 9th graders.
In the middle of the wall, there is a big “VICTORY”. It was written in pencil. I guess it must have been written by someone who got a good mark in an exam.
