Mr. Jackson was on duty that evening. It was 1 and there was thick snow outside. So few people came to the hospital and he could  2 on the bed in his office and soon he went to sleep . 　It was very late when we came out of the cinema. We knew the last train would leave      11:15 , so we ran as      as we could to the station. It was just after 11: 15 when we      the station, but the trains often leave a little       and there was a train standing at Platform 1(第一站台) , so we got in. “Mum, I want to make you a bet,” I said. “If I go a whole year without TV, will you give me a hundred dollars?”
