Last year The Voice of China, the most popular TV talent show became a popular topic in people’s chatting and media information from both home and abroad. It began on July 13, 2012 and ended on September 30, 2012. Liang Bo, a handsome boy from Changchun, Jilin was the champion of The Voice of China in 2012. Before the competition Liang Bo was just an ordinary college student studying music. He captured (夺得) the hearts of audience (观众) with his passionate (激情的) rock’n’roll (摇滚) performance at the show.

Fans described Liang’s voice as “natural, clear and touching’’. Although he seemed cool on stage, he could quickly turn on the power once he started singing. “His performances make you imagine things. Who are the top students in the world, do you know? Last week the Organization for Economic Co-operation Development (经济合作与发展组织) picked the best students in the world. They are Finnish (芬兰的). The OECD gave a test to 280 000 15-year-old students from more than 40 coun­tries and regions (地区) last year. The OECD wan­ted to know how well students were doing at school.
Finnish students were No. 1 in the reading test and second in maths after Hong Kong students. Those from Japan and Finland were top in science. In many people’s eyes, middle school students are happy and carefree. But is it the truth? And what 26 students happy or unhappy?

To find out students, Li Jiahui , a student in Pinggu No. 3 Middle School, Beijing, spent six months 27 students’ sense of happiness last year. The 28 girl made a survey with questions such as “Are you feeling happy?”and “What makes you unhappy?”

It's the end of class. When the bell rings, students of Luohu Foreign Languages School in Shenzhen quickly take out their cell phones. They want to log on* to their micro blogs to check the interesting things that have happened in the last hour.
  Since last year, the trend* of micro blogging has swept the country. Recent surveys shows that most students in middle schools have a micro blog and some even update* their blogs over five times per day.

  Mr. Shen, a professor at the China Education Association, suggests parents not worry too much as long as kids are not crazy about micro blogging. "If parents can read their children's micro blogs, they'll know their thoughts, thus leading to better communication and solutions to problems," he said. He also gives some tips for kids.
