  How long can I keep borrowed material?
  Each time you borrow a book or a video, a date due card will be put in the
book or video pocket, telling the day you should return the items to the library.
  Check this date carefully.
  Some items such as Hot Video and Hot Book can be kept for one week with

  You can keep most other items for three weeks, with two renewals allowed
only if there are no holds or bookings on them.
  How can I renew books?
  You can renew items 3 ways:

  2. Renew the items yourself on the Internet. Items can be renewed twice if
there are no holds on them.
  3. Being the item(s) to any branch and take to the Circulation Desk. Most
materials except Hot Book and Hot Video copies may be renewed twice for the
same period as the original loan, unless another reader has placed a "hold" on
the item. You cannot renew the item if it is overdue.

Mary’s dime(一毛钱)

It was Sunday afternoon. I decided to clean up the room nicely so that my parents would feel   1  when they returned from a long ride! Then, I sat in the room, having nothing to do.
