     When Li Ming was three years old, he was interested in learning. He always asked what it was when 
he saw a word on the wall of the street. His grandmother told him and taught him how to write it. Soon 
he could read and write. After three months, he could look up the new words in a dictionary (字典).
Then he wrote the things on a piece of paper and showed it to his parents it to the evening.
     Li Ming didn't like singing or dancing. He didn't like sports, either. He liked doing some reading. His 
room was full of books. And he began to learn the subjects of the primary school (小学). When he was
 five years old, his mother began to teach him English. Six months later, he could speak much English and 
talk with a foreigner (外国人) in English. His English improved quickly. When the other kids began to go
