When you make a mistake，big or small，cherish（珍惜）it like it is the most valuable thing in the world．
Most of us feel bad when we make mistakes．That is only natural：most of us have been taught from a young age that mistakes are bad，and that we should try to avoid（避免）mistakes．We've been blamed when we make mistakes at home，school and work．

Mistakes ate how we learn to do something new--because if you succeed in something，it is probably something you already knew how to do．You haven't really grown much from that success--at most it is the last step on your journey，not the whole journey．Most of the journey was made up of mistakes，if it is a good journey．
So if you value learning，if you value growing and improving，then you should value mistakes．

We are all busy talking about and using the Internet, but how many of us know the history of the Internet ?
Many people are surprised when they find that the Internet was set up in the 1960s. At that time, computers were large and expensive. Computer networks（网络）didn’t work well . If one computer in the network broke down, then the whole network stopped. So a new network system had to be set up. It should be good enough to be used by many different computers. If part of the network was not working, information could be sent through another part. In this way computer network system would keep on working all the time.
At first the Internet was only used by the government, but in 1970s, universities, hospitals and banks were allowed to use it, too.
