题目列表(包括答案和解析)
Dear Sandy,
How are you? It's Saturday today and I have some time to write to you. We're busy from Monday to Friday. We get up at six thirty in the morning. After some exercise we have breakfast. We have five classes a day and the first class starts at eight. Our teachers are strict. They often ask us a lot of questions and some of them are very difficult.
We do sports at five in the afternoon. We play basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball, tennis or pingpong. Some of my classmates like art. They can sing or dance or draw. Sometimes Miss White, our biology teacher, takes us to the zoo(动物园).
After supper we can watch TV. But we do our homework first. I like math and often do some difficult exercises(练习). So I go to bed at ten thirty. I'm often tired but I like them.
Please write to me and tell me about yourself.
Yours,
Zhou Hong

“Mother tells me that the most important thing is to study, and she almost never gives me any housework to do, though I really want some,”said Wang, a middle school student in Guangzhou, the capital of South China's Guangdong Province.
A report says that most of Guangzhou teenagers want to do more housework, but their parents usually do not think so.According to the report, 37% of the teenagers do housework less than half an hour every day; 39.4% of them from half an hour to one hour; 11.5% one to two hours; 5.6% over two hours; and 6.2% just have‘no’housework to do.
“Most of my time after school should be spent on my homework, and I don't have time to play.Even on weekends, my parents ask me to stay home to study.I can't go to see a film, watch TV or play with other children. My parents never say to me about anything to do with the housework.Sometimes I feel I have the duty to do something to help my parents, but they just get everything done for me,”said Yang Ming, a sixteen-year-old student.
Experts think this won't change much unless the College Entrance Examination(高考), which adds much pressure(压力)on high school students, is changed.

Each year, many Chinese people go abroad because of all kinds of reasons. They are becoming younger and younger year by year.Even some Chinese parents send their children to foreign countries when they are only in a middle school. They think their children can get a wider view, less academic(学业)competition or family honor. But life can be hard for young people there. At first, they have to face the culture differences and language problems. However, these are not always the most difficult things to overcome. To most children, controlling(管理)themselves well is a big challenge when they study alone in a strange country.
Yu Yang, a 15-year-old student from Guangdong Province studies in a high school in Toronto, Canada. To his surprise, his teachers there seldom push students to study hard. And usually there isn't too much homework.Students have lots of free time to do some activities. Some of his friends spend their whole year's money in the first two months of the new term.So they have to ask their parents for some more money.
On the one hand, studying abroad can help students learn foreign languages quickly and open up their eyes, but on the other hand, some children may feel lonely, become bad, lose themselves, ect. Many problems may happen to them. These are different from their original(原来)thoughts. So parents should think them over before their children go abroad.
