A ban on smoking in most public places goes into effect(效果) on Sunday in China - home to a third of the world's smokers. That means around 300 million smokers will no longer be allowed to light their cigarettes in the "enclosed public places." off the northeastern coast of Japan on 11 March

The earthquake in Japan on March 11,2011 was a 9.0 on the Richter scale (里氏). Over 6,500 died because of the disaster by March 18. The earthquake also caused a tsunami (海啸) and a nuclear leak (核泄漏).

China has decided to take actions to stop the use of free plastic bags. Supermarkets and shops in China aren’t allowed to offer free plastic bags.

Every year, people use too many plastic bags and fail to deal with them in a right way. While we offer quick and useful service to customers, the plastic bags cause serious pollution as well. For example, people will throw away plastic bags after they use them. The waste plastic bags may fly with the wind and make the environment ugly. Worse still, animals may eat them by mistake and die.
