“I’ve been writing a book, John. Do you think anyone would be interested in   1   it?” said the old lady.

Lisa never had the chance to know her father. He and her mother divorced when she was just a young child. Even though he didn’t move far, he never came to visit his children.

Jackson was driving back home along a road one evening. He just lost his job. It was winter and it was very cold, just like his feelings.
