  When Mary Smith was a middle school student, she always wanted to become a teacher because she liked children very much. When she was twenty-one years old, she began to teach in a primary school. She liked her job very much and she was certainly a very good teacher and she got on well with her students in her class.   Maybe you know that the letter “V” stands for victory in western countries. But do you know the history of the sign?

  During World War Ⅱ, Europe was occupied (占领) by the Germans. A lot of people got away to Britain. Among them was one Belgian (比利时人) named Victor Valveli. He was very patriotic (爱国的) .
