　　The telephone rang. Mrs Lee want to answer it. She was very happy to find that was Mary, her good friend. Mrs Lee asked her to come and have dinner with her and her husband that evening.

　　At a quarter to six, Mr Lee came back home. He found his wife worried.

　　“What's the matter, dear?” he asked.

　　“I've made a terrible mistake, my dear,” she said. “I've asked Mary to come and have dinner with us this evening. ”

　　“Well, that's nothing to worry about,” Mr Lee said. “We should have a happy evening together. We haven't seen her for a long time. ”

　　“But I've just found out that there is not enough food in the house. I asked you to get some meat on your way back from work three days ago and you forgot it. ”

　　“Oh, my dear! ” said Mr Lee. He went out of the house and ran to his car . He found a piece of meat in the car. It had been there for three days.
