题目列表(包括答案和解析)

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: “I am blind, please help.” There were only a few coins in the hat. A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words. Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps(脚步) and asked: “Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?” The man said: “I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way.” What he had written was: “Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it.”
Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing? Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply told people to help by putting some money in the hat. The second sign told people that they were able to enjoy the day, but the boy could not enjoy it because he was blind. The first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign reminded people they were lucky that they were not blind.
There are at least two lessons we can learn from this simple story. The first is: Be thankful for what you have. Someone else has less. Help where you can. The second is: Be creative. Think differently. There is always a better way!

One way to make an egg stand up is to break the thick end. This is an old way to fool others and Columbus once used that.Another way is to shake a fresh egg and hold it upright a few minutes so the yellow part of the egg will come down to the bottom. The yellow part of the egg is heavier than the white and will make the egg heavier at the bottom. You should be able to make it stand on its end(顶端)if you do everything tight. The third way is to place a little salt on a piece of white cloth before the test(试验).The egg will stand in the salt, and your friends may think you are clever if they do not see the salt.

Fresh eggs will go down in water,If you find that an uncooked(生的)egg sits on water, you will know that it is made a long time ago,and has become bad.A fresh egg will not go down in salt water.Put in your fresh egg and watch it.

A magic can be played with a fresh egg, some salt and a glass full of water.First you fill the glass with some water, then put in two spoons of salt and move the spoon round and round until the salt is gone.Next you softly 6u fresh water in the glass. Please fill the water against the side of the glass so it will mix very little with salt water. It will not fall to the bottom because the salt is heavy, and it will not rise to the top through the fresh water, either.Your egg will stay in a place at the centre of the glass.

       You will need:
A seed;(幼苗) tomato or flower, a trowel, water, a flowerpot with soil or a backyard.
       Here's how:
If you use a flowerpot, be sure your flowerpot will have enough space for the roots to grow. Fill your
flowerpot about three-quarters full with soil. If you are planting in your backyard, dig a hole with your
trowel.  Make sure that the hole is big and deep enough to hold the roots of your plant.  Put the plant in
