2010 Summer Camp opens between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. from July 20th to July 30th.
All children aged from 7 to 14 are welcome. Each child can take part in only one of the following activities and needs to pay¥150.

I have many different hobbies. I would like to share them with you. I have many different after-school activities every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and some Sunday activities.
I am learning the Arabic Dabkah. It is a traditional Arabic folk dance. This Sunday I am going to perform in an Arabic fashion(时尚) show. The girls and I will show traditional Arabic clothes to the audience. It must be great fun! I also like ballet(芭蕾舞). So you see, I love all kinds of dance and it is my favourite hobby. I take ballet lessons with two of my best friends every Sunday. I also love choreography(舞蹈设计) and love to dance to music with my friends. My favourite singers are Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Avril Lavigne and the Jonas Brothers.
One of the activities I do out of school is gymnastics. I really enjoy gymnastics because it makes me keep fit. I also enjoy playing volleyball. I am on the school volleyball team.

Mount Qomolangma is the highest mountain in the world. It is in the Himalayan (喜玛拉雅) Mountains between Nepal(尼泊尔) and China, and it is 8900 meters high. Sir Edmund Hillary from New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay from Nepal were the first people ever to climb Mount Everest in 1953. Men from several different countries climbed it after that.
Junko Tabei, a Japanese was the first woman to make this difficult climb. A Japanese newspaper-television company chose the fifteen women from mountaineering clubs to climb Mount Qomolangma in 1975. The group climbed for several days. Then there was an accident. The heavy ice and snow hurt ten of the women. They had to stop climbing. The other five went on climbing.
Only Ms Tabei was able to climb the last 70 meters. She was standing on the top of the world. She was the first woman there. Ms Tabei was 35 years old at the time. She started climbing mountains in 1960. She still climbs mountains. She is not an ordinary Japanese housewife. Ms Tabei makes money for her trips by teaching English and piano to children. She climbs a mountain about every three years. She has climbed some of the highest mountains in six countries. Finally, she wants to climb the highest mountain in every country in the world. When she reaches the top of a mountain, she thinks, “I’m glad that I’m at the top.”
