In the United States in the nineteenth century，many children studied in one-room schoolhouses．Students in Grades One to Eight shared the same classroom．A one-room schoolhouse was usually built of wood and painted white or red．

Last summer holidays．my classmates and I helped with a charity show．Its aim was to raise money for those children who   1   go to school in poor areas．We did a lot for that．
