Mr Young worked in a factory. One day he broke an important part of a machine and was sent away. He couldn't find any work any longer. He had to roam(流浪) here and there. One day when he was walking by a river, an Englishman fell into it and the water would nearly wash him away. In the time of danger, Mr Young jumped into the river and saved him. Mr. Jackson worked in a hospital. A lot of patients went to see him and he was very busy and had little time to rest in the daytime. One night, when he looked over the last patient, it was five to one. He was too tired to say a word and lay down at once. Mr. Johnson wanted to join in a bicycle race. He said he would win. Mrs. Johnson only smiled. She knew he could not be in the race. But she also knew he would try. That's more than one thousand miles. You would never make it. ”
