第一节：短文改错 (共10小题，每小题1分, 满分10分)

It is important to know that a parent should do to help reduce children’s stress. If you notice that your child is becoming nerve, he may have problems at the school. He may has trouble sleep. He may be depressing but begin to suffer from headaches. In this case, you should talk him to try to discover the causes of her stress. You should spend extra time helping him. In short, you need to be complete supportive and encouraging all the time.

It’s not easy being a teenager---nor is it easy being the parent of a teenager. You can make your child feel angry, hurt, or misunderstood by what you say without realizing it yourself. It is important to give your child the space he needs to grow while gently letting him know that you’ll still be there for him when he needs you.

Expect a lot from your child, just not everything. Except for health and safety problems, such as drug use or careless driving; consider everything else open to discussion. If your child is unwilling to discuss something, don’t insist he tell you what’s on his mind. The more you insist, the more likely that he’ll refuse to talk. Instead, let him attempt to solve things by himself. At the same time, remind him that you’re always there for him should he seek advice or help. Show respect for your teenager’s privacy(隐私). Never read him his mail or listen in on personal conversions.

Teach your teenager that the family phone is for the whole family. If your child talks on the family’s telephone for too long, tell him he can talk for 15 minutes, but then he must stay off the phone for at least an equal period of time. This not only frees up the line so that other family members can make and receive calls, but teaches your teenager moderation (节制). Or if you are open to the idea, allow your teenager his own phone that he pays for with his own pocket money or a part-time job.

How to prepare a lecture

    Being invited to give a lecture is an honor．It means that people regard you as an authority on a given field, subject, or issue．It means you are worth listening to． 1.   You have to make sure your lecture is interesting, and full of wisdom, from which the audience can take valuable insights．This is why it is important for you to prepare your lecture well．

    1．Think of a good topic．

    You most likely will be assigned to talk about a certain topic．If that's the case, you only need to make an outline and do some research．But in some cases, you will have to think of your own topic．Although it gives you more freedom to do it, thinking of a topic can be tricky．  2.   Or pick a topic that is timely and socially relevant．
