Time is very important in our lives. But it never had any importance in my life until I ¡¡41¡¡ a watch from my father that made me responsible(ÓÐÔðÈÎ). It ¡¡42¡¡ me the importance of time in my life.
I got this gift on a grey-sky day. I had to go to the ¡¡43¡¡ at 9:00 a.m. to pick up£¨½Ó£©my uncle Ali and take him to my father¡¯s house. However, I forgot it ¡¡44¡¡ I was playing with my friends. Later on that day, around 11:00 a.m., I ¡¡45¡¡ my uncle, but I was late for him. He had got out of the plane and ¡¡46¡¡ a taxi to my father¡¯s house.
I¡¡47¡¡ my father¡¯s house at 2:00 p.m. at the same day . My father looked at me angrily. I said ¡°hi¡± to him and my ¡¡48¡¡ uncle. My father asked me to sit ¡¡49¡¡ him and handed me this watch which was a gift from ¡¡50¡¡. It weighed 8 oz£¨°»Ë¾£©and all of it was made of silver£¨Òø£©. Then he said, ¡°Essa, did you have fun ¡¡51¡¡ your friends today? What you did was not very nice and you should be sorry for your ¡¡52¡¡.¡± I felt sorry and told my father that I wouldn¡¯t do it again. Then he said, ¡°This watch will be a reminder(ÌáÐÑÎï) for you. I hope today you have learned something ¡¡53¡¡.¡±
I learned a lesson from my father: to respect(×ðÖØ) time and ¡¡54¡¡ be late. The watch is important to me, not because of its ¡¡55¡¡, but because of the lesson that I learned from it.

Today we can see that many people are cutting ___41___ the trees in the forests. A lot of rich land ___42__ become deserts(ɳĮ). If we __43¡¡ newspapers, we¡¯ll learn that the forests on the earth are getting smaller ¡¡ 44¡¡ . We are cutting down large numbers of trees ¡¡ 45¡¡ we need wood and farmland. Some scientists say that there ____46___ be any great forests ¡¡ 47¡¡ 20 or 30 years.
What will happen ¡¡ 48¡¡ the forests disappear? A lot of plants will die and the animals will ¡¡ 49¡¡ their home. In many places the new farmland will soon look____50____ the old deserts. Crops£¨×¯¼Ú£© will not grow there. There won¡¯t be enough ¡¡51¡¡ , and the weather will get hot and dry. If the climate£¨Æøºò£©of the earth changes, life will be ¡¡52¡¡ for everyone. Our living environment£¨»·¾³£© will become ¡¡53 . More and more rich farmland will disappear£¨Ïûʧ£©. We will suffer£¨ÔâÊÜ£©a lot from both droughts£¨¸Éºµ£© and floods.
It¡¯s our duty___54___the forests well. Everyone should try his best to make a contribution£¨¹±Ï×£© to taking ___55___ of the forests. Stop cutting down the trees and make the world greener!

No two people are 6 .Friends 7 don¡¯t get on well. That doesn¡¯t mean 8
they no longer like each other. Most of the time they will make up(ÑÔ¹éÓÚºÃ)and become 9
again.
Sometimes friends move away. Then we feel very 10 .We miss them very much, but we can 11 them and write to them. It could be that we would even not see them again. And we can 12 new friends. It is surprising to find out 13 we like new people when we get to know them.
There¡¯s more good news for people who have friends. They live longer than people who don¡¯t. Why? It could be that they are 14 .Being happy helps you stay well. Or it could be just knowing that someone cares about you. If someone cares about you, you take 15 care of yourself.
