　　A young man married a young woman from a village nearby. They lived with the man's big family - his parents, his brothers, their wives and children. the family kept an elephant. The young woman soon took great interest in it. Every day she gave nice food to the elephant.

　　Three months later the woman quarreled with her husband and went back to her parents' house. Soon the elephant didn't want to eat and work. It seemed to be ill and heartbroken. One morning after several weeks the animal disappeared from the house.
