I was said to be the worst student in my class, and my family thought I was hopeless. I had to  41  grade six. At that time a new teacher, Miss Sadia, came to our school.

Mo Yan's Nobel Prize in Literature soon aroused public curiosity of the 57-year-old Chinese writer: Why was it he that was favored by the Swedish Academy?
