　 The city of Jining used to be known as"Little Suzhou　 to the north of Changjiang" . But not many years ago, with the development of industry, the place was seriously polluted. Heavy smoke and waste water from factories made the air and rivers dirty, in the narrow, dirty streets you could see people spitting and throwing litter here and there. In recent years, however,　 people have realized the importance of protecting the environment. They have planted a lot of trees and the air is becoming fresher and fresher. You can see fish swimming in the clean rivers and birds flying among the trees. There are wide streets with green grass and beautiful flowers on both sides. The old city has now taken on a new look.

From the pictures we know that much water has been polluted. Some factories are pouring waste water into rivers and lakes. The water becomes dirty and lots of fish have died. Many people often waste water. For example, they often forget to turn off the taps. If we don’t have enough water, land will be dry and crops will die. We can’t live with out water. So we Should try our best and encourage everyone to protect water resources. We must save water and stop polluting it. If we do that. Things will be much better.

I love my hometown-Weifang

Weifang lies in the middle of Shandong Province with a population of 8 500 000. People here enjoy four seasons: warm spring, hot summer, cool autumn and cold winter.

Weifang International Kite Festival is held every year. Friends from all over the world take part in it, Yangjiapu's New Year paintings, Shouguang's vegetables are famous in China.

Now Weifang is developing very fast. The streets are wider. The water is clearer. You can see grassland here and there. It's becoming more and more beautiful.

I love my hometown. Welcome to Weifang!

　 It is really a good idea to travel with you. I’d like to start our travel on July 10 th. First, we take a bus to Nanjing. We can go boating on Xuanwu Lake. Then we’ll go to Beijing by train at night. In Beijing, we’ll visit the Great Wall, Tian’anmen Square and the Palace Museum… We can take photos there, do some shopping and eat some famous food like Beijing Duck. We may spend one week there. I’m sure we’ll have a good time!
