    When I was twelve years old．my family were the first black people to move into an all white part of Grand Rapids，Michigan．Many of our new neighbors weren’t very welcoming．Some of them said angrily that we should return to where we came from．The children sometimes threw stones at me or drove me home from school．

   The idea of the WorldMUN began in l991．A group of students at Harvard（哈佛）University wanted to make a new meeting to bring together the students who were interested in the world．They wanted to discuss different problems around the world．The WorldMUN is based on understanding，compromise, learning and friendship．The first meeting was held in Poland in l992．After that，it is held in spring every year．Last year，it was held in Scotland．
