On the first day of school our professor introduced himself and asked us to get to know someone we didn’t know. I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder. “Hi, girl! My name is Rose, I’m 87 years old.”
“Why are you in college at such a young age?” I asked jokingly.
“I always dreamed of having a college education and now I’m getting one!”she replied.  Rose became a college symbol(象征) this year and she easily on her from the other students.

If I am 87 years old, and stay in bed for a year, and never do anything, I will turn 88. Anybody can grow older. But every minute counts for young men,” she added.
She ended her speech by singing The Song of Rose. She challenged each of us to study the lyrics and live then out in our daily lives.
At the year’s end, Rose finished the college education she had begun all those years ago. One week after graduation Rose did peacefully in her sleep.

　　Everyone in our school loves sports. Every morning 1 we get up, we do morning exercises. After the second class we do exercises again. We only have 2 classes twice a week, but we do physical training（锻炼）at five every afternoon. The most popular sport is basketball.
