   In the UK,bus journeys are very common. Public transport is often convenient when you live or work in the city center,as you can avoid traffic jams and do not have to pay the parking fees. However,taking the bus is just a necessary but boring part of life： you get on the bus,pay the fees and sit down or find a place to stand when it is crowded. Everyone looks upset.

    In Latin America,however,bus trips can be very lively. For a start,films are showed on intercity buses so that passengers can have some entertainment (娱乐) along their journeys. Local buses do not show films,but drivers usually turn on the radio and it can be a great way for passengers to listen to new songs.

    Even better than films and music are the sights and sounds on the buses. Ix>cal buses always go to parts of the town that you would not visit. There you can see shops that you have never heard of. And you can also see other cultures of the town from the windows of the buses. 

    Besides,passengers’ luggage is also interesting. It is common for a cheerful dog's head to get out of somebody's bag or a lovely chicken to chirp under somebody's arm. Once on a bus in Peru,a farmer tied something that looked like a dead sheep to the roof of the bus. I was quite shocked and even more shocked when the farmer got off the bus and took the sheep off the roof,which seemed very amusing.

   Taking the bus in Latin America is really fun and unforgettable.

   Jerry was always in a good mood and always had something positive (积极的) to say. He was a unique manager because he always had several waiters who followed him around.
