Was My Friend Tom Friendly or Bad? 　　Pelple often said that Tom was an honest and brave boy. In order not to be late for school, he always set out early. One day, on his way to school, he found smoking coming out of the window of a house.“The house is on fire!”he thought to himself and ran as fast as he could to fetch some water. After a short time he ran back with a bucket of water and poured the water into the window. 　　The smoke disappeared immediately. To his suprise, he saw an old man looking out of the window with a smoke pipe in his hand, and shouting angrily,“What are you doing? You, the bad boy!”
