I often quarrel about my mother over whether I can watch TV after school. She holds the view that senior students have to make a full use of every minute to work hardly at their lessons. It seems to me that once I am allowed to do that, I’ll be unable to control myself and forgot all about my study. She also thinks it is bad for my eye. But I really can accept her ideas.

Last evening, I went to teahouse with my best friend Susan. Before the tea was serving, we talked to each other happily. When the waiter went to us with the tea, we didn’t see him. Unfortunately, Susan rose her hand to comb her hair just while the waiter bent to put the plate on the table. His hand hit the cup, and the tea was spattered (溅) on her trousers. In my surprise, instead of complaining, Susan smiled, “So lucky that it’s not on my shirt, and I can’t even clean it.” Her words were very inspired. As we can see, the environment around us is getting worse other than better. Our life and health have affected greatly. I spent most of my summer holidays travel in London. I arrived there in middle of July. After reaching my sister’s apartment I got many sleep. The next day I went to St Paul’s Cathedral, an amazing monument, that was well worth a visit. After take some photos in front of it, I moved on to the Tate Modern art gallery. There is an excellent exhibition of oil paintings and sculptures by some famous British artist. For dinner we went to the Ivy, a very beautifully restaurant. The food was good but the atmosphere was nice. It was a great day of sightseeing and one that would never be forgotten it.
