    		I study in a junior high school . I think students shouldn’t be allowed to surf the Internet . Surfing the Internet wastes a lot of time , so the students spend less time doing their homework . Also many students lose themselves in playing the computer games . In their minds , games are everything and they keep on playing the games for hours . That’s too bad for their study and their health .

    		  I don’t agree with Tracy . In my opinion , surfing the Internet can help us a lot . For example , I often get help from the Internet . I’m weak in learning English . When I have trouble in learning English, I can get on line to ask for help . Always I can get the answers soon . In this way , I have made great progress .Thanks to the Internet .

    		   Yes , I have the same opinion as Jimmy . My son , Bob studies very hard . After hours of working hard , he usually feels tired . If he goes on with his study , he will feel stressed out . So I often ask him to surf the Internet to listen to some light music . It can help him relax and he will study better later on .

    　　I started my junior high school life at the age of thirteen．At first the school for me, a boy, meant play, play and more play．However, I changed the way I used to behave at school with the help of my teachers．I tried my best to do well in my school work and follow the school rules．

    　　Growing and learning were great fun．Every year we had different kinds of school trips．Not only could we learn many things from them, but also we were given many projects as homework．They helped us know more．At the same time, we made many friends．In Grade 8, I won prizes in drawing and English speech competitions．When I was in Grade 9, I realized that I should give all my attention to my studies because I was going to take the exams to get into senior middle school．

    　　Whenever I think of my school life, I feel very happy and I think in everybody’s school life there are many ups and downs(苦乐)that influence his life．School is a place where all of us learn to care and share．“School” is not just a place, but a large building made up of rules, knowledge and love．I can describe my school as “Three Ss”．They are Small, Sweet and Simple．My school was the best, is the best and will always be the best．

    　　Stephen Hawking was born in Oxford, England on 8th January, 1942．He went to school in St Albans－a small city near London．Although he did well, he was never top of his class．After leaving school, Hawking went first to Oxford University where he studied physics, then he went to Cambridge University where he studied cosmology．As he himself admits(承认)，he didn't work hard．He was a very lazy student, and did very little work．However, he still got good marks．

    　　It was at the age of 20 that Hawking first noticed something was wrong with him．He started to bump(撞上)into things．When he visited his family at Christmas time, his mother was so worried that she made him see a doctor．Hawking was sent to hospital for tests．Finally, the result came back．Hawking had motor neurone disease, an incurable illness which would make him unable to speak, breathe(呼吸)or move without the help of a machine．Doctors said they had no way to help him．He would die before he was 23．

    　　At first, Hawking became very depressed(忧伤的)．After a while, though, he began to see his life in a different way．As he later wrote,“Before my illness was diagnosed(诊断)，I had been very bored with life．There had not seemed to be anything worth doing．But shortly after I came out of hospital, I suddenly realized that there were a lot of worthwhile things I could do．”Hawking married, found a job at Cambridge University, and had three children．He also went on to do some of the most important scientific research．

    　　Today, Hawking still works at Cambridge University as a professor．He strongly believes that his story shows that nobody, however bad their situation(处境)is, should lose hope．“Life is not fair,”he once said．“You just have to do the best you can in your own situation．”
