一桶水倒在干沙堆上，水立刻无影无踪，沙子表面上却湿漉漉的，好像吸满了水。但是，抓一把湿沙子却挤不出一点儿水来。这是因为沙子并没有真正把水吸进去，而是让水顺着无数个缝隙流走了，这只能算“过水”。这样的沙子再经过风吹日晒，就会立刻干燥如故了。

而海绵呢，却与沙子不同。将一块海绵浸入水中，再拿吃来看时，它已经喝得饱饱的了，用手一捏，就可以挤出许多水来，可见海绵是吸到了水，并且储存了起来。

由此我想到了在学习上存在着与此相似的两种情况。有的同学读书很不认真，一翻就是几页，一目十行，只看字面，不动脑筋，粗枝大叶，不求甚解，书本一撂，一无所获。这正是“沙子过水式”的学风。但是也有许多同学在看书学习中，不但做笔记，而且勤于思考，善于联想，由此及里，融会贯通，真正掌握了知识。这正是“海绵吸水式”的学风。

我们应该提倡“海绵吸水式”的学风，吸得进去，挤得出来，读了书就长了见识，增加了学问，而不像沙子过水似的看了一遍书却一无所获。
