    Last summer，Mark became a middle school student．He took an English test in the first month． Mark was a good student and he worked hard．He finished the questions easily until he read the last one：“Everyone sees our school's gatekeeper every day．What's his first name?”

    Of course，this question is a little special．Mark saw the man some times．He was tall and had a square face．But Mark didn't talk with him and didn't know his first name．The test was over．Then one student asked the teacher，“Is the last question very important in this test?”，“Yes，”said the teacher．“In our life，we will meet many people．Everyone is important．You should care about them．You may only smile at them or say‘hello’to them．”

    Mark never forgot that question．He also learned that man's first name．It was William．

    On a hot day，it can be hard to know what to do to feel good．

    Playing in water is one way to feel cooler．Taking a cool bath or a shower can feel really good on a hot day．

    Even though it is not healthy to run around during the hottest time of the day, that doesn't mean a hot day is not fun! You can read stories in your room．You can also paint or draw without moving your body too much．These are just some of many cool things to do on a hot day．
