    A new survey of 100 hard-working mothers shows that they spend about 70 hours a week doing chores and looking after their families.

Doing the laundry takes about 61 minutes. Mothers also spend about 55 minutes getting children ready for school, about 53 minutes putting them to bed and about 47 minutes helping with homework.
