Some people believe that competition is necessary in study. Students can be stimulated to work harder, especially when they see their classmates achieving more. In addition, students themselves can overcome their shortcomings through competition.

Yet people holding different opinions argue that cooperation is what is needed in study. Cooperation can cultivate students’ awareness of team spirits. Only those with team spirit can get along well with their future workmates and can deal with personal relationships effectively.

As far as I am concerned, both cooperation and competition are of equal significance in study. They’re just like one’s left hand and right hand. Without either of them, one’s study will be lacking in well-roundedness.
