Good afternoon, everybody! Nowadays ,smoking is a common phenomenon among high school students, especially boy students.

Why do students smoke? In my opinion, some students may think it makes them look cool and can draw others’ attention. Others may just start to smoke out of curiosity and become addicted to it as a result.As we all know, smoking can cause health problems. It could do terrible damage to people’s heart and lungs.Not only the smokers but also the non-smokers could be affected. Once you get into the habit, you will find it very hard to quit it, because the nicotine in cigarettes makes people addicted.  Then what can you do if you are already in the habit and want to get rid of smoking? As far as I’m concerned,you need to make good preparations mentally and be determined. Always remind yourself of the bad effects it may have on yourself and the people around you. Besides, find a friend to break the habit with you. Don’t feel desperate if you have to try several times before you succeed. Finally believe in yourself that you can quit smoking!
