Dear Tom,

I’m glad that you have chosen to go to Yunnan for your holiday．Kunming, the capital of Yunnan, is known for its mild climate and is called the “ Spring City”; however, it often rains there in summer, so make sure you take an umbrella with you．

There’s two cities you can’t miss---Lijiang and Dali．They are both well-preserved ancient cities from which you can feel the mixture of ethnic and modern culture．In addition to the ancient cities, you can also watch performances by the locals and try delicious snacks．Mixian is one of the famous tasty snacks that all tourists to Yunnan usually try．

As a rule, souvenirs at the scenic spots are generally expensive, so you’d better bargain before you decide to buy anything．I hope you will have a good trip．
