16.Good health is the most valuable thing a person can have but one cannot take good health for granted.It is important to remember that the body needs proper care in order to be healthy.There are three things that a person can do to help stay healthy,eating right food,getting enough sleep,and exercising regularly.
Proper nutrition(营养) is important for good health.Your body cannot work well unless it receives the proper kind"fuel".Don't eat too much food with lots of sugar and fat.Eat plenty of foods high in protein(蛋白质),like meat,fish,eggs and nuts.Vegetables and fruits are very important because they provide necessary vitamins and minerals.However,don't overeat.It is not helpful to be overweight.
Getting the proper amount of sleep is also important.If you don't get enough sleep,you feel tired and easily get angry.You have no energy.Over a long period of time a little amount of sleep may even result in a change of personality(人的个性).Be sure to allow yourself from
seven to nine hours of sleep each day.If you do,your body will feel strong and refreshed,and  your mind will be sharp.
Finally,get plenty of exercise.Exercise makes the body stronger,strengthens the muscles(肌肉),and prevents you from gaining weight.It also improves your heart and lungs.If you follow a regular exercise program,you will probably increase your life-span(寿命).Any kind of exercise is good.Most sports are good for keeping the body in good shape:basketball,swimming,bicycling,running and so on.Sports are not only good for your body,but they are enjoyable and interesting,too.

73.Tips/Suggestions/Advice
Don't eat too much food with lots of sugar and fat"可知我们要避免吃一些含有太多糖和脂肪的食物.
75.containing/providing  考查词形转换. Vegetables and fruits are very important because they provide necessary vitamins and minerals"可知蔬菜和水果里含有/提供必要的维生素和矿物质.所以用containing/providing,现在分词形式修饰前面的名词.
77.causes考查同义表达转换,根据文章第三段中的内容…of sleep may even result in a change of personality可知,应该用cause,主语是lack of sleep,所以动词用第三人称单数形式.
Most sports are good for keeping the body in good shape可知,要保持身体健康,in good shape意思是健康,所以用healthy.
If you follow a regular exercise program,you will probably increase your life-span可知应该用regular.

1.New crime predicton software should reduce not only the murder rate,but the rate of other crimes.Developed by Richard Berk,a professor at the University of Pennsylvania,the software has already used in Baltimore and Philadelphia to predict which individuals on probation(缓刑) or parole(假释) are most likely to murder and to be murdered.
"When a person goes on probation or parole he is supervised(监督) by an officer.The question is‘what level of supervision is appropriate?'"said Berk.It used to be that parole officers used the person's criminal record,and their judgment to make decisions.
"This research replaces those seat-of-pants calculations,"he said.
Technology helps determine level of supervision.On average there is one murder for every 100,000people.Even among high-risk groups the murder rate is one in 100.Predicting such a rare event is very difficult,but advances in computer technology orks.
Years ago,the researchers made a dataset of more than 60,000various crimes.Using the software they developed,they found some much more likely to commit murder when paroled or probated.They could identify eight future murderers out of 100.
Berk's software examines roughly two dozen variables(可变因素),from criminal record to geographic location.The type of crimes,and more importantly,the age at which that crime was committedwere two of the most predictive variables.
"People assume that if someone murdered then they will murder in the future,"said Berk."What really matters is what that person did as a young individual.Predicting future crimes sounds well.But we aren't anywhere near being able to do that."
"Berk's scientific answer leaves policymakers with difficult questions.By labeling one group of people as high risk,and supervise them closely,there should be fewer murders,which the potential victims should be happy about.It also means that those high-risk individuals will be supervised more aggressively.For human rights advocates,that means punishing people who,most likely,will not commit a crime in the future,"said Bushway."It comes down to a question of whether you would rather make these errors or those errors."
25.The underlined words(in Para.3)probably meanA.
A.calculations based on subjective opinions
B.calculations based on widespread voting
C.calculations made by advanced technology
D.calculations based on serious considering
26.For 650people with crime records,how many potential murderers would the software find?C
A.65.B.13.C.52.D.65.
27.From Para 7,we can infer thatB.
A.the technology developed by Richard Berk will soon be widely used in the US
B.the technology would not be widely accepted in the short term
C.whether a person murders or not largely decidd by his upbringing while young
D.if a person murdered when he was fifty,he is sure to murder again while on probation
28.Which would be the best title for the passage?D
A.Closely Supervise Potential Murders
B.Measures Taken to Prevent Criminal Behavior
C.Technology Revolutionizes Judges'Way of Working
D.Software is Developed to Predict Criminal Behavior.

5.April 15th marks the 102nd anniversary(周年) of the sinking of the Titanic(泰坦尼克号).The 11-storey ship was not just very large,but also unusually luxurious (豪华).It is therefore not surprising that the sinking of the Titanic continues to attract the interest of people of all ages,even today.
Over the years,there have been many books about this tragedy(悲剧).However,very few have been written from the perspective(视角) of the young passengers.This is why I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic,1912by Lauren Tarshis is fun and different.The author uses facts from the real tragedy and makes up a heart-stopping adventure story starring a smart and brave boy George Calder.After spending an exiting vacation in England with their Aunt Daisy,ten-year-old Gorge and his little sister Phoebe,were heading home to America,aboard the greatest ship on earth,the Titanic!
Then on the night of April 14th,the first sign of disaster(灾难) appeared---the luxury ship hit a huge iceberg.But given that everybody in the world knew that the Titanic was unsinkable,there was very little cause for panic(惊慌).They were all confident that the ship's engineers would be able to repair the"slight"damage that had been caused by the iceberg.
This,of course,turned out to be untrue.Within a few hours the Titanic was not only sinking,but faster than most people had time to react.Added to this was the fact that there were not enough lifeboats to take all the passengers to shore.If that was not enough,when the emergency(紧急) call to get on the deck(甲板) came,Gorge realized that his sister Phoebe was missing.
Will George be able to find his sister and help her get to shore?To find out,be sure to read I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic,1912.

25.Who is the main character of I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic,1912?C
A.Lauren Tarshis.
B.Daisy.
C.George Calder.
D.Phoebe.
26.What can be learnt about the book?B

B.It attracts people of all ages.
C.It was finished in 1912in America.

27.What happened the moment the ship hit a huge iceberg?D
A.The ship wasn't seriously damaged.
B.George realized Phoebe was missing.
C.The ship sank immediately.
D.The passengers weren't worried at all.
28.What made it more difficult for all the passengers to survive?B
A.The unskilled engineers.
B.The shortage of lifeboats.
