    15．Having dated my boyfriend for a year，I got an engagement（订婚）ring for Christmas．Mom，sisters and I searched bridal shops（婚纱店）for my wedding dress I would wear in June．We finally bought a beautiful dress in a little shop while it was too large and costly．With no alterations in the shop，I would have to get it resized in my hometown．
        Next morning，I was informed that numbers of hand-sewn pearls（珍珠）made the dress unaltered．A friend recommended me Mrs．White，who did alterations at home．One day I visited Mrs．White．She asked me to try it on and put pins into the shoulders and sides of my dress and told me to pick it up in two days．
    When the time came to pick it up，however，I grew doubtful．How could I have left a $1，200 wedding dress in the hands of someone I barely knew？What if she made a mess out of it？
        Thank goodness．The dress still looked exactly the same as if it had been made especially for me．
        One small problem solved，a bigger one came up．On Valentine's Day，my husband-to-be said he was not ready to get married．I was heartbroken．Anyhow，I survived．
        One day in the fall of that year，at the supermarket I happened to see Mrs．White．She politely asked about my wedding，and was shocked that it was canceled．I thanked her again for adjusting my wedding dress，and added it was safely bagged for my"Mr．Right．"With a light in her eyes，she began telling me about her single son，Tim．Though I wasn't into dating again，I let her talk me into meeting him．
        One year later，I did have my summer wedding after all．And I did wear the dress of my dreams-standing beside Tim，the man I have shared the last eighteen years of my life with，whom I would never have met without that special wedding dress．

    This is another touching series about a seven-year old monk Yichan，and his master Adou's daily lives．Premiered in 2016，the series had its episode 35 broadcast recently．Each episode focuses on a certain topic，including family，romance and friendship．Despite telling stories from the perspective of a child，the series targets adults and aims to provide some"chicken soup"to let audiences learn to be tolerant and give more love to others．The animation got 9.5 points out of 10on Douban．
    Hua Jiang Hu
    Premiered in 2014，the series has had four seasons．The story is based on Chinese history during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms （907-960），when there were continuous wars and fights among many small kingdoms．The series got an average of 7.9 points out of 10on Douban．To those who fancy historical stories，the animation provides another way to learn Chinese history．Yet the series doesn't pay too much attention to historical details．
