    In a year from now，my whole life will change．I'll be a legal adult．My dorm might be in Paris，Los Angeles or Chicago．I'll be doing my own laundry，cooking my own food and paying for things on my own．I'll meet entirely new people and say goodbye to others．But isn't that also the joy of life？I want to experience joy，heartbreak，first times and new adventures．
    College freaks me out，but you know what scares me more？I must leave my life inside a comfort zone．It's a big，bright and beautiful world，and I think it's finally time for me to walk in it with the confidence at this time，I'll be doing it right．

    1．I was born in New York City and lived there until I was five．After my brother was born，my parents wanted us to grow up knowing our culture，so we moved back to India．But every summer，we return to New York to visit friends，so I feel that I have two homes instead of one．
    A lot of my American friends think of teens（少年） in India only as hardworking，book-smart students---and to some degree that's a true．One reason is that，unlike in the US．whether an Indian teen can go to college is decided by his scores only．There are，however，lots of similiarities between Indian and American teens．We wear jeans，eat out，and watch movies．The differences are surprisingly few．
