    　　He has taught at universities in Bangkok, Mexico City, Boston, Austin and Albuquerque among other places．Since the 1990s, Le Clezio and his wife share their time between Albuquerque in New Mexico, the island of Mauritius and Nice．

    　　This was the fourth of the prestigious Nobel Prizes handed out this year, with awards in chemistry, physics and medicine made in the past three days．

    The painting Along the River During Qingming Festival, is considered a national treasure．It describes life in Bianjing, which is today’s Kaifeng in Henan province．More than 1,000 years ago, it was the largest city in the world．Multimedia technology will make more than 1,500 characters of the painting walk and move along a 100-meter-long wall.

    Happy families

    Four families are chosen from Zhejiang province to show their daily lives．Films of the families and furniture from the households will be exhibited.

    At the pavilion, you’ll gain insight into the daily lives of these families at different periods．The designers believe these will mirror the great changes Zhejiang has witnessed since China’s reform and opening-up policy in the late 1970s.

                       

    Pick up your camera and upload your videos online, because you may find your work broadcast at the China Pavilion．

    The search launched by four websites encourages people to capture and record the rapid development of cities in China and the beauty and the color in people’s lives．Two hundred outstanding entries will be made into films and played on screens at the China Pavilion.

    With the theme “Same time”, the films will show the work and life of people in different parts of China at the same specific moments．Entries should last at least 30 seconds.

    Four gold prize winners will be awarded about 10,000 yuan each．Others whose works are selected will also win prizes.

    Rather, the prize should be regarded as recognition of the goals he set for the United States and the world. “I will accept this award as a call for action, a call for all nations to face up to the common challenges of the 21st century,” Obama said, “the challenges, including nuclear nonproliferation(防止核扩散), fighting against climate change and energy crisis, can't be met by any one leader or any one nation. That is why I have been working to establish a new era of engagement in which all nations must take responsibility for the world we seek.” he said.

    Obama is the fourth U.S. president to win the Nobel Peace Prize and the third sitting president to do so.  “The president will donate the entire $1.4 million prize to charity,” White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said, “but hasn't decided yet which organizations will share the windfall”

    Reactions to his winning of the Nobel Peace Prize are mixed both in and out of the United States. Some like former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, the Nobel Peace Prize winner of 2002, said Obama's award is “a bold statement of international support for his vision and commitment to peace and harmony in international relations.” However, Former Polish President Lech Walesa, who won the prize in 1983, questioned whether Obama deserved it now. And U.S. Republican Party Chairman Michael Steele remarked that Obama won the prize as a result of his star power rather than meaningful accomplishments and the real question Americans were asking was what he has actually accomplished.  “So soon and too early. He has done nothing but joy ride and give teleprompter (讲词提示机) speeches so far. He is still at an early stage. He is only beginning to act,” said Walesa, a netizen.
