Dear Editor,

Nowadays women are playing a much more important part in society. More and more women are working like teachers, scientists and even leader. It’s hard to see the phenomenon which the wife is busy while the husband is sitting in an armchair, watching TV. In spite of all these changes, the great number of men still guard his rights. At Chinese New Year, my family and I have a very busy time. Two days before New Year’s Day, I went out with my friends from school to the seafood restaurant in Pudong. It was the noisiest restaurant which I had ever been to, and the food was cheap and delicious. After that,  we went to shopping for new clothes and found lots of bargain. Thank you for the lovely day we have with you．It was so kind for you to let us bring Anne’s friend, Gina．Unfortunate, the only problem was the journey home．There had been a terrible accident on the highway and , for a result, there was a long line of traffic for at least six mile．In the end, we drove to a service station and waited there unless the road was clear．In the car parking here Gina nearly got knocked over as car drove out far too quickly from behind a lorry．They finally dropped Gina off at her parents’ and made our own way to home．

Three years ago I became a student in an ordinary school. Disappointing as I felt at the shabby campus and the poorly-equipped classroom，I found the teachers patiently and considerate. How is everything going? Today I'd like to tell you something more about our school sports meeting. It was holding on Oct.6, which was a fine day. There were over 1,000 students and teachers attend it. Wang Lin, a student from my class won the 100-meter race. He finish the race in 12.6 seconds and broke in the school record. The sports meeting was really success. That was because we were all trying to do my best. Although I was not one of the winner, I was proud of that we had done.
