This morning I got up early and went to school as usually, only find there was nobody in the classroom because it was Sunday. “How a bad memory I have!” I couldn’t help laughing. Stand in front of the school gate, I began to wonder what to do next. Suddenly a good idea occurs to me. “Why not get together with some good friends for a picnic in such a fine weather?” I immediately telephoned some of my best friends, but they all agreed to come to join me. About two hours late, we finally arrived a pleasant park with trees and flowers here and there. We really enjoyed us hugely.

All of us know the old saying “Practice make perfect.” It tells us unless we want to realize our aim, we should practise, and one day we will make it. It’s easy to understand. Once I wanted to learn swimming. At first I found difficult to control my body. I just sank into the water. I feel very frightened. Then I watched others who were good at them and asked them the key to succeed. I went to the swimming pool every day, learned from them and practised. A day, when my friend pushed me into the swimming poo1, I sudden found that I could swim. How exciting I was! Now I can swim much more better than before.

My classmate, Hanks, have been sick in hospital for a week. Yesterday our class

decided send him some flowers and asked me to buy the flowers. I have had a hard time get them since then. I went to town immediate after class yesterday afternoon only to find the flowers shop there already closed. So I returned with nothing. I called it many times at this morning, but the line was always busy. While I finally got through at noon, a lady said she was a new hand and can not tell me the prices. Luckily, I haven’t classes this afternoon, and I am about go to town again. I must get the flowers for Hanks today.

Nowadays more and more people, specially schoolboys and schoolgirls, are giving to video
games. Many of them spend all their spare time the games, and some even stay at the game
machines all days long. The reason is why they can enrich their lives as well as knowledge by
playing video games. But it’s a good way of relaxing after a day’s work and study, as video
games can bring a fun to people’s life. However, on the other hand, play video games too much
can waste time and money, and has a bad effect on people’s eyesight and healthy. So, video
games, like coins, have two sides. The key point is that we should make properly use of the
games.
