When I was small, my mum used to give the family something special for meals —she would make breakfast food for dinner.

There are about fifteen hundred languages in the world. But only a few of them are very important. English is one of them. Many, many people use it, not only in England and the USA, but also in other parts of the world. About 200,000,000 people speak it as their own language. March 16 is World Sleep Day. This year’s slogan is “Breathe Easily, Sleep Well”. Its aim is to celebrate the *benefits of good and healthy sleep.

For others,they may even have insomnia, and usually they have to ask the doctors for help.
These sleeping problems greatly *affect people’s life. Some doctors found out that *lack of sleep for teenagers lead to poor grades. Students without enough sleep cannot pay attention in class or do well in sports. Also, they often become anxious easily.
Luckily, with good sleep habits, it is easier to fall asleep. Some of these good habits include *avoiding drinks that make people excited late in the day, going to sleep at the same time every night, and sleeping in a comfortable place that is dark, quiet, and neither too warm nor too cold.

US teenagers may be facing a challenge (挑战) today. A recent survey suggests (表明) that they are less honest than previous generations (上一代人).

The survey was done among 29,760 students at 100 US high schools. The results suggest that in the past year, 30 percent of US high school students have stolen from a store. And 64 percent may have cheated on a test.

However, 93 percent of the students said they were satisfied (满意) with their honesty. And 77 percent said,“when it comes to doing what is right, I am better than most people I know.”
