    2．Passport control
        If you are arriving at London Heathrow Airport and are not transferring to another flight outside Britain or Northern Ireland，you must pass through Passport Control and Customs immediately after leaving your plane．If you are not Britain or a citizen of the European Community（欧共体），you must fill out a special form before your passport is examined．This form is called a landing card and should be given to you during the flight to London．
        After landing，follow the ARRIVALS signs．Make sure you are in the right channel when you reach Passport Control．There is one channel for holders of European Community Passports，and a second channel marked"Other Passports"．
        Baggage Reclaim Area（取行李处）
        After passing through the Passport Control，follow the signs to the Baggage Reclaim Area．If you have luggage which is carried in the aircraft hold，it will be delivered to you in the Baggage Reclaim Area．Look for the sign with your flight number．If you have only hand luggage，go directly through the Baggage Reclaim Area to the Customs．
        Customs

    7．Have you considered having a meat-free night one day each week？One day out of each week isn't much．This little change is so simple that anyone can do it，and so important that everyone can make a difference．
    According to the climate experts，livestock （牲畜） are responsible for 18% of the world's greenhouse emissions （排放物）．If everyone in the USA had ONE meat-free night each week，it would mean the energy of 12billion fewer gallons of gasoline each year．That's a lot saved!
    Without all the land cleared for farming animal food，and without all the fuel spent on transporting animals and meat around，you already know that cutting out a little meat is good for the planet．
    What about you and your family？How can a meat-free night improve your health？
    Plant based foods are naturally low fat，low cholesterol （胆固醇），high in vitamins，rich in minerals and full of healthy fiber．Fiber not only helps your to feel full faster，but aids in healthy digestion as well．Many useful minerals such as iron，calcium and zinc are also found in abundance in certain leaves，seeds and nuts．Studies have repeatedly shown that a high-vegetable but low-meat is very beneficial．Notice it didn't mention cutting out all meat，just lowering it!Eating some meat is still good for you．
    Now that you know the benefits of adding a meatless night to your schedule，what steps can you take to actually enjoy it？
    There are plenty of recipes where you won't"miss the meat"that don't require tofu or other meat-substitutes．If you are worried about not feeling full or not getting enough complete protein from the meal，why not add beans to it．Beans have complete protein just like meat，but they have no flavor of their own．You can add them to almost anything without changing the taste，and you can't hate them because there is no flavor to dislike．
    It's up to you to have the fun of discovering great meat-free recipes．Recipes of all types are so easy to find with a simple search，and you never know what you might discover．Maybe you'll even find your family's new favorite meal!

    Folk songs sometimes tell stories about real events．An example is the story of a young man whose last name was spelled D-U-L-A but pronounced"Dooley"．Tom Dula was a Civil War soldier in North Carolina．He was found guilty of the murder of his girlfriend．He was hanged in 1868，yet the case left many questions．The story was retold in poems and songs---including the hit song，"Tom Dooley，"recorded in 1958by the Kingston Trio．
    Folk singer and songwriter Amy Speace says the history of American folk music can be imagined as a tree with many branches．At the center，she says，is Woody Guthrie．Woody Guthrie wrote almost 3，000songs．But he only recorded about 300of them．His granddaughter Anna Canoni says that was partly because he did not have enough money to record more．
    Yet for all his influence，millions of Americans today remember him for just one song，which children learned in school．The song，"This Land is Your Land，"seems like the perfect expression of pride in country．What many people do not know is that it was meant sarcastically，as just the opposite．This meaning is made clear later in the song，in the parts that most children never learn in school．
    Some people probably think of a folk singer out of date from the 1960s．A long-haired，guitar-playing idealist sings about bringing the world together．But these days，with music production software，digital video and social networks all easily available，folk artists really can bring the world together．
