    I like eating fruit and vegetables what are of great benefit to our healthy. Not only do they prevent us from falling into ill, but they help us lose weight. I used to hate vegetables, but follow the doctor’s advice, I gradually kicked the bad habit. Just as an old saying going, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. However, there are still many child disliking fruit and vegetables. On contrary, influenced by this or that kind of advertisement, many were crazy about junk food. Consequently, they become weaker and weaker instead of getting strong. In my opinion, we must take action to change them.

    College is a passport to different places，different times，and different ways of thinking-from learning new languages to considering the arc of human history to diving deep into the building blocks of matter．It gives students a chance to understand themselves differently，seeing how their lives are both like and unlike those who inhabited other eras and other lands．
    College introduces students to people they've never met before．One of the most important ways in which students learn at college is by interacting with people who are different from themselves．I recall one student who was admitted to Harvard but wasn't sure he would fit in at a school in the Northeast．However，one night he found himself debating the characteristics that define a genuine hero with other admitted students from around the world．Not everyone agreed，but the differences were what made the conversation exciting，and he realized how much he could learn at a place full of engaging people with a wide range of viewpoints．
    College teaches students the virtue of slowing down．No one denies the value of speed，connectivity and the virtual world in an economy that thrives on all three．But"thinking"is a word that is too often forgotten．College teaches students to slow down，to change information into insight and knowing into understanding．It nurtures critical thinking．The result is that students grow in knowledge and in wisdom for a lifetime．
    To conclude，investing in a college or university education is well worth it．College opens opportunities reflected in earning and employment statistics．But more importantly，in college students have acquired a new way of transforming the world，through the power of learning，analyzing，changing to adapt to what they have come to understand．

    My high school life has made me learn much things．Among them teamwork is the most significantly for me．In fact，I didn't realize its important until I was elected monitor．In beginning，I did almost all the duties myself，however，others students cared little about class activities．Therefore，I was worn out and depressed．Then I turn to my head teacher but he advised me to cooperate with others．Gradually，I realized the strengths of my classmates and managed to have everyone to play a part in class．It is working in teams instead of on my own which has freed me of trouble and made your work more efficient．

    Parents do need to teach their kids financial responsibility and that money is earned.Still,many child-development experts agree that tying a child's allowance to chores can be a slippery slope.Here's why.

    For parents who are concerned that their children won't learn the value of a dollar if the allowance isn't tied to household chores,note that there are still plenty of money management skills to be learned from a straight allowance. Depending on the age,kids can be made responsible for paying for their own toys or snacks.Some parents even require that kids set aside a percentage of their allowance toward savings.

    Sports are the base of my life, next to my mother who raised me when my dad left us. I have been into sports since I was six years old. I have known many coaches and heard hundreds of their tips, but they usually focused on drills to develop my skills and reach the next level of play.

    When I was in Senior Two, I met the new school basketball coach, Brian Pawloski. I thought I was certain to be selected for the school team since I had been in it the year before. If I am not working on basketball, I am reading a book that he thinks will help us better understand life’s challenges, including Wooden, Coach, and The Screwtape Letters.

    In the first two years I slacked off, not putting forth my full potential. Now, unlike the coaches of my youth, this man was interested in how he did off the court. He always made sure I kept up with my studies and was able to be trusted. I can honestly say that no other coach has given me so much advice on how to succeed in basketball, but more importantly, in life. My school is lucky to have such a great person to teach, coach and influence their students. I will always remember my high-school basketball days as one of the hardest times I have ever worked in my life not only in basketball but in my growth as an individual.
