Find out what they like and don’t like.

Have the students write down Dave in the form which “likes it” if he likes it and in the form which “doesn’t like it” if he doesn’t like it.

2. Then ask each pair to exchange charts with another pair and complete the activity as before. Encourage pairs to present their completed charts to the class.
Task Four: Food survey
1. Get the students to make up their own charts similar to the pairwork chart in pairs. Ask them to use different food items, to tell the truth, and to leave out half of the information on each copy of the chart.
6. As the students complete the task, make a simple copy of the chart on the board. When they are finished, ask students to fill in their answers on this chart.
Task Three: an activity
5. As the students are working together, move around the room making sure that they understand the instructions and helping them get started.
4. Now work in pairs. Now each of you have only half of the information. Your job is to get the rest of the information from your partner.
3. Draw a happy face and a sad face on the blackboard and ask students: Which one means likes and which one means doesn’t like?
