The Theory of Multiple Intelligences
Did you know everyone is smart in different ways? This idea is called the Theory of Multiple Intelligences. A scientist named Howard Gardner said there are eight types of “smart”. Let’s learn about them!
- Word Smart: You love reading, writing stories or learning new words.
- Number Smart: You enjoy solving maths problems or puzzles.
- Music Smart: You like singing, playing instruments or remembering songs.
- Picture Smart: You are good at drawing, building models or imagining things.
- Body Smart: You like dancing, playing sports or using your hands to make things.
- People Smart: You work well in groups and helping friends solve problems.
- Self Smart: You understand your feelings and like thinking quietly.
- Nature Smart: You love plants, animals or watching the weather.
How can you grow your smarts? Try new activities! If you like drawing, join an Art Club. If you love sports, practise football with friends. Ask yourself: What do I enjoy doing? What makes me proud? Maybe you are good at cheering up sad classmates—this means you are People Smart!
Remember: No one is good at everything. You might be strong in some areas and still learning in others. That’s normal! The important thing is to find what you love and keep trying.
Think: What kind of “smart” do you have? How can you use it to make your life or others’ lives better?

答案:示例:I have "People Smart", I can use it to help my friends solve problems when they are in trouble, listen to their worries, and make them feel better. This can make my friends' lives happier and also enhance my own sense of happiness.
