T: Well. Most students are never late for class, because it’s a school rule. You aren’t allowed to be late for scool. But in the following conversation, a student called Peter was late for class, He had a test on that day. Can you guess what happened to him? Let’s listen to the recording.

Play the recording for the first time.

T: Now you can circle the things in 1a that you hear.

Check the answers.

T: OK, I’ll play it again, and you nust listen carefully and read after it.

Then check the answers with the whole class.

T: Fantastic. From your conversation we know that your parents care for you very much. And most of us have some rules at home. Please write down your family fules on a piece of paper.

T: Have you finished writing your family rules?OK, you can make conversations with your partners about what rules you have to follow at home.

T: Well, we’ve got some information about the students who have to follow the fules. Now you can write a survey according to it.

Ask one or two of the students to read their survey.

T: Wonderful. Thank you very nuch. Though you have different rules at home, you should know your parents well. From the rules you can feel the love in them. You should thank them for all the things they do for you.
